Yamaha U-1 Professional Upright Piano

Built in the late 1970's, this Yamaha U1 Upright Piano has been cleaned with great detail so the polished ebony finish shines in any space. The hammers & dampers have been meticulously cleaned to look and function as good as new. The bench pictured in listing images is included with the purchase of this instrument.

The U series is particularly coveted by players & technicians alike, due to its reputation for tuning stability and a better performing & serviceable action. It has been recently regulated. The weight of the keys is consistent throughout, creating a balanced and warm tone that blends through the sections. Very easy to control with an outstanding tone, tight pins and structural stability, this U1 would make a great addition to any sized space.

This piano was well loved and played at its previous home, so it does have some minor cosmetic damage that can be seen in listing images/video. 

Currently being serviced for 2 new strings, which will be properly stretched and tuned before final sale.
