1978 Kawai KG-2C (w/ bench)

Kawai KG-2C, 1978 built grand piano in a high gloss ebony finish. Includes a high quality, adjustable leather bench in matching finish. This piano has been well regulated and feels like a new instrument. The hammers have been cleaned & shaped along with the dampers. The finish is virtually blemish free and easy to maintain.

The 2C was the first of Kawai's KG grand series'. As they were produced through the late 70's, this piano was likely produced towards the end of that series. Considered to be dependable and sturdily built instruments, the 2C has been highlighted for having a clean tone and rich bass sound. 

This piano is just under 6 feet, but has great resonance carrying its warm sound. Tunings hold well and unisons sound great. Finally, the soundboard looks beautiful with no cracks, and the pin block holds good pressure with the newly replaced pins.
